An air conditioner has two numbers: the cooling capacity, how much heat it removes from the room, and the electrical input, how much electricity it draws. Enter the electrical input. A split air conditioner works like a heat pump, so it draws several times less electricity than its cooling capacity.

At 6 hours a day a 0.8 kW air conditioner uses 4.8 kWh, about 4.99 PLN a day. An inverter compressor slows down once the room is cool, so the real draw is often lower.
