Privacy policy
The calculators run in your browser: the numbers you enter are not sent to our server. The site has no user accounts. Below we describe the personal data we still process and the rights you have.

Data controller

Visiting the site
The site runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. When you open a page, Cloudflare servers process data such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page address and information about your browser and operating system.
We need this data to deliver the page, protect the site from attacks and find errors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept only as long as these purposes require.
Email contact
When you write to us, we process your email address, your message and anything you include in it, such as your name. We do this to reply (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We keep the correspondence as long as needed to deal with your matter, and after that no longer than the limitation period for possible claims.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking. If you choose the light or dark theme, we remember the choice in your browser storage (localStorage, key theme). This entry is never sent to us, and you can remove it by clearing the site data in your browser.
Cloudflare may set a technical cookie, __cf_bm, when it protects the site from bot traffic. It is needed for security and expires after about 30 minutes.
Partner offers
When you click a partner offer, you go to the partner's site. The link may contain our identifier so the partner knows you came from us. Anything you enter on the partner site is processed by the partner as a separate controller, under its own privacy policy.
Who we share data with
Data goes only to companies that help us run the site and process it on our behalf:
- Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery network, site protection. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. The transfer relies on the European Commission decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in which Cloudflare participates, and on standard contractual clauses.
- The email provider we use to receive and send messages.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data and get a copy of it, and to have it corrected, erased or its processing restricted. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interest. To use these rights, write to kontakt@kosztydomu.pl.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Polish data protection authority, Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).
Giving any data in your message is voluntary. We make no decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
Changes to this policy
When we change how we process data, we will update this page and the update date at the top.
