Heating cost calculator for a 200 m² house
The calculator starts with a 200 m² house. Pick the insulation standard and see the yearly heating cost and how much gas, electricity or fuel you need per season for five heat sources.

What it costs to heat a 200 m² house
At the start the calculator assumes a house insulated after 2000 with hot water for four people: about 23,600 kWh of heat a year. A heat pump then costs about 7,013 PLN, gas about 7,701 PLN and pellets about 13,202 PLN, which is about 5.7 t of fuel per season.
In a large house the gaps between heat sources grow in zloty: here pellets cost about 6,189 PLN a year more than a heat pump. Insulation changes even more. A new 200 m² house built to WT 2021 needs about 12,000 kWh for space heating, and an uninsulated one about 40,000 kWh.
